Hiking Day

So yesterday my mom and my two brothers and I all went on a hiking trail.  It was so much fun. I mean for someone who hates bugs and horrible smells it was one of the best days I have had in a while.
We tried to find the easiest trail to go on but instead we managed to go on the fitness trail. It was a good thing we were going down the trail instead of up it because there were so many steep hills. We had to be really careful staying on the trail because there was a lot of poison ivy.  We walked through some really tall grass and I thought we would be greeted by some snakes but thank goodness we weren't. As we continued on our hike we saw views of our city. We then came across an old railroad bridge and it was breathtakingly beautiful.

When we finished walking on the old railroad bridge we took the same trail back. On the way back I saw some honeysuckles and was about to pick one when I saw two HUGE SPIDERS!!! It scared me so bad. They had long black legs and they were terrifying.

We also came across a beautiful path that reminded me of Proverbs 4.25-27. Let your eyes look directly forward and your gaze be straight before you. Take heed to the path of your feet, then all your ways with be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left turn your foot away from evil.
It was a reminder that if you're looking for God it doesn't always have to be in the bible.

I hope you enjoyed my little hiking adventure post.
